JAMMU, JULY 26: Marking the 27th Kargil Vijay Diwas with immense patriotic fervour, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Jammu Mahanagar, organised a grand 100-metre Tiranga Yatra to pay heartfelt tribute to the brave soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice during the Kargil War while safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty.
Carrying the National Flag with pride, hundreds of ABVP activists and young volunteers marched through the city, filling the atmosphere with patriotic zeal as slogans such as “Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” “Vande Mataram,” and “Veer Shaheed Amar Rahein” echoed throughout the procession. The yatra served as a solemn reminder of the extraordinary courage, dedication, and selfless service of India’s Armed Forces.
Addressing the gathering, ABVP State Secretary Shri Sanak Srivats said that Kargil Vijay Diwas is a symbol of the unmatched bravery, determination, and sacrifice of the Indian Armed Forces. He stated that the peace, security, and pride enjoyed by every Indian today are the result of the unwavering commitment of the nation’s brave soldiers. Urging the youth to embrace the spirit of “Nation First,” he encouraged them to actively participate in nation-building and social service while drawing inspiration from the lives of the Kargil martyrs.
Speaking on the occasion, ABVP Jammu Mahanagar Secretary Janvi Dogra said that the heroes of the Kargil War continue to inspire generations through their unmatched courage, patriotism, and supreme sacrifice. She called upon young people to uphold the ideals of the martyrs and always place the nation’s interest above personal aspirations.
Reaffirming its commitment to national service, ABVP stated that the organisation remains dedicated to promoting patriotism, social responsibility, and youth participation in nation-building. The 100-metre Tiranga Yatra concluded with a collective tribute to the immortal heroes of the Kargil War, inspiring participants to carry forward their legacy of sacrifice, courage, and unwavering devotion to the nation.
